State Track Results

Congratulations to the Girls’ and Boys’ track team on their performance at the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP track meet in Gulf Shores.

The Girls’ team finished in 11th place out of 58 schools. They were led by all-state performances in the shot put, ( Lilli Barboza 2nd> 35’3.25”; Kristen Stringer 6th> 33’09”) discus, (Lilli Barboza 3rd>112’00”) and the 4 X 400m Relay (4th> 4:04.97 Leah Sparks,Donicia Lenori, Toni Lenori, Kamirel Wall)

The Boys’ team finished in 27th place out of 58 schools. They were led by all-state performances in the 800m,(Markiec Ridley 7th>1:59.92 discus(Quinton Johnson 8th>135’01”)

**The girls’ team moved from 29th place in one year to 11th. The Boys moved from 55th place in one year to 27th. Congratulations!
