Oxford's very own Deedee Adams and Franchine Hutchinson have been selected as a members of the Advanced Placement(AP) Instructional Team for the State of Alabama. Ms. Adams and Ms. Hutchinson were two of twenty-five selected out of hundreds of other applicants from across the state. The University of Alabama announced the new partnership with the Alabama Department of Education only a few weeks ago. This innovative, new project will provide teachers in Alabama with a support network they can draw upon to maintain the competitive standards of AP instruction.Up to twenty-five teachers from each of four subject areas from across the state - AP Biology, AP Calculus, AP English Literature, and AP United States History - will be chosen to participate in the AP Instructional Team Program.
