The basketball season is getting close with the boys and girls beginning play the week of Thanksgiving. The first regular season game will be Friday, November 30th at home against Talladega. The team is ready for an exciting season and a style of basketball that will be fun to watch. The number one goal for the basketball program at Oxford High School is to have a First Class Program. We want the players to be looked upon as fine young men who will contribute great things to this society. There are three principles at Oxford that we try to instill in our players. We want them to be good people, good students, and good players. The coaching staff takes this very seriously and goes to great measures in order to make this possible. We feel like if our players do the right things now, success will follow them in the future. Basketball is not life, just the tool we use to teach life principles.
